"The vegan pulled mushroom bowl was amazing! As was the excellent hospitality from a lovely young lady named Bridie. Very humbled when I asked for her name because she may have thought I was going to make a complaint, but nope! She is definitely what restores faith of working in hospo. Highly recommend giving this place a go! Busy, but worth the drive for such an amazing experience and meal."

"food here is delicious and great value for money, for $17 the pulled pork poke bowl was twice the size i expected. jumbo coffee was $7.50 (see image). whoever put chappell roan, lana del rey, clairo and taylor swift on the work playlist deserves a raise."

"Really great restaurant. All the food is well presented and tasty. One pancake was a bit burnt and my friend wasn’t a fan of the Coffee Frappe. The service was fantastic, everyone friendly and helpful. Definitely a must go!"

"The food was good but I didn't get any edamame, I'm confused why I got pink ginger and pickled cabbage because it doesn't come with the slowly cooked by my boss which is waht I ordered. I still don't know how they could forget to put edamame in the poke bowl because it comes with all the poke bowls. It's like they were doing two orders in the one poke bowl. Make sure you double check your food before you leave or order in."

"Have been to Mad Benji twice for brunch and absolutely loved it. It is not a very big place and can get quite busy and loud on weekends, so I definitely recommend booking ahead. My favorite was the French Toast, which was amazing, loaded with fruits, and beautifully presented. I also tried their pancakes, which were good, but the French Toast definitely stole the show with its larger portion. My friends tried the poached egg dish and really enjoyed it as well. Their coffee is great and prices are in line with other cafes. Service can be a bit slow when it’s busy, but it is totally worth the wait. Overall, a great spot for brunch that I would highly recommend!"

"My wife and I have been going to ‘Mad Benji’ at Park Hill [ Berwick ] for a number of years now, so thought that I would share this review with you, as once again we are here for lunch. The things that really stands out over the years are the amazing consistency of their food, coffee, service and very fair prices. Where else can you get a beautifully presented ‘Mad Moo’ Hamburger, complete with a ‘very generous’ serving of either Chips or Potato Gems, as a regular ‘lunch time special’, for $13.90 [ fantastic ] and, complete it with a nice cold (330ml) bottle of either ‘Asahi’ or ‘Corona’ beer. My wife had the ‘ Slow WasSlowly cooked by my Boss, shredded pork and assorted great vegetables, which was just delicious she said. Even if you just want to drop in for a coffee ( which is always consistently great) , I can highly recommend this marvellous Cafe’ to you all. Lots of parking available here too, which makes it even more convenient."

"We walked into mad benji as first timers on a busy Friday. The staff were very busy and tables full. They arranged a table for us, welcomed us and thanked us for our patience. They were lovely, smiling and working very hard to ensure all orders were presented in time with high standards. The food was really really lovely especially the Brioche French Toast with Mascarpone and vibrant fruits. The juices freshly made were refreshing. Most of all the smiles on their faces even whilst they were overwhelemed with so many guests. Well done girls (and kitchen team). Coffee was really good also."

"Came here by recommendation of a friend. 8/10/24 Back here with another friend - one that had been here and loved this cafe. We had burgers and me a matcha latte. Delicious burgers and my just perfect match latte done the way I like it. Friendly staff is a plus. Fantastic menu. Would be back for the French toast and pancakes. We had hot chocolate, latte, mocha and a flat white. Must say the coffee bean is good and coffee made to our liking. We had a muffin and a raspberry crossiant. Very tasty. Should be back to try out the other pastries. Very busy on a Saturday morning but service was still great."
